The Sequim Bay/Dungeness area is doing really well! It is so very beautiful here! This past week, Sister Taylor and I got to do some pretty awesome things....! We got to teach Missionary Prep on Wednesday night to some youth, and our lesson was centered on Chapter 2 of Preach my Gospel - which you should all read and STUDY!!! On Thursday, we got to have a lesson with our Good Friend Linda Reichl. We talked about the commandments, and how they help us the better understand and live The Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is currently planning on being baptized October 10th. We helped her set a date my 2nd day in this area, and it has been exciting to help her understand the gospel, and see her grow. On Friday, I went on exchanges with my Follow-Up Trainer, Sister Hannah Henderson. WAY FUN! Saturday was the Women's General Broadcast, which was absolutely AMAZING!!!! If you haven't seen it, I encourage you all to watch it (men included!). If you have seen it, watch it again! President Uchtdorf's talk was my personal favorite! Then last night, we had a Missionary Musical Fireside here in Port Angeles. We were able to hear some amazing testimonys, from every life within the gospel - converts, members, return missionary's, current full time missionaries, etc! It was so GREAT!!
There is so much power and strength that can come when we choose to live the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as the Great prophet Joshua reminds us;
"Choose you this day whom ye will serve; … but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”

When we choose to put the Lord first in our lives, he will bless us.
Yes, the hard times will come, and things may get worse before they get better, but I recently heard a quote from an extremely wise and dear friend mine “Remember, bad times are just times that are bad.”
Sometimes we see people that let the bad times define them. They loose hope, and they forget whop they are, who they can become, or simply just quit - I think elder Holland puts it best when he says, "In that imaginary instant, I couldn't help calling out to him, don't you quit! You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon. Some come late, and some don't come till Heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be all right in the end. Trust God, and believe in good things to come."

I am so eternally grateful for the gift that it is to serve a mission here in the WA-TAC. I love my family, and I love my friends! The church is totally true, and we are called to share it with the whole entire world!
