Living that Crazy Life ! Tacoma is a great place to be serving! Last week we got 6 new investigators, and the elders in my ward have 7 people on date for baptism!! It has been a growing experience to serve in this area, and Sister Heaton and I are having a lot of great adventures. I am so very excited for the Superbowl Here!! The fans here are insane- It’s almost like football is its own religion that we have to compete with...people skip church to watch the games, and we are going to be on 'lock-down' for the Superbowl. We were knocking on doors about a week ago during one of the play-ff games, and everyone was really upset about us knocking on their doors, and they weren't very nice.....eventually we just started asking people what the score was (after they said we were crazy and to go away because the game was on) so that we could leave their porch on a good note. :)
It has been raining here a lot as well....no surprise there....! We are often soaked through everything! We go home at night and put our bags, jackets, and all of our clothing into the dryer (thank goodness we have one in our apartment and we don't have to go to the Laundromat! Today I am going with all of the sisters in my zone and the Sister training leaders to eat dinner at the mission home with President and Sister Blatter.
One of my favorite talks is 'No Less Serviceable' by Howard W Hunter

It is just a good reminder to me that no matter where I am called to serve, or no matter what the numbers, or what other people may know about me, it is what the Lord thinks that really matters. I know that this work is his work, and no matter where we are in life, we can do what we have been asked and have covenanted to do, and become "no less serviceable in the eyes of God."
Love!
